In the autumn of 2006,the town of Chrudim held a competition for the design of a viewing tower in the town forest of Podhura, less than five km south of the historic centre of the town. The town approached five architects and studios with this plan, from 17 designs presented, the town council selected the design of Martin Rajniš and his team e-MRAK, the tower with the name Bára.
